Proudly partnered with the Movement Centre of Manitoba!

Here at Uolo, our goal has always been to bring joy and smiles to people’s lives, not only by developing and offering quality and affordable consumer electronic products, but also by reinvesting in the communities that have supported our products and help grow our business. Today, through Uolo Smile Fundraising Program, we are very excited to announce our long term partnership with The Movement Centre of Manitoba. For every item purchased on our web store (, we will be donating 2% of your purchase to this great organization.

The Movement Centre of Manitoba is a registered charitable organization that is committed to improving the physical health of children and adults with physical disabilities. Through the teachings of “Conductive Education”, they strive to maximize the independence of their clients. They provide movement and learning opportunities with appropriate motivations and expectations, in order to overcome the challenges faced by the physically impaired population.

Conductive Education is effective for those individuals with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, stroke, acquired brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.  To learn more about The Movement Centre of Manitoba, check out their website at

What is “Conductive Education”?

As stated on the Movement Centre's website "Conductive Education, often described as rehabilitation through learning, was founded by Dr. Andras Peto in Budapest, Hungary, in 1948. Peto devised this unique, intensive group method of special education, which expects and demands active learning and participation by the child in attempting to overcome his/her motor disability (i.e. cerebral palsy, spina bifida, traumatic brain injury, cerebral vascular accidents, etc.) For info about Conductive Education, here is a great video we would like to share with everyone."

Our Uolo team will be working closely with the Movement Centre team with a goal to bring more awareness of their Conductive Education program. And we would also like to share some of their life inspiring stories with you through our social media channels.
